Teen Strength
Group Fitness Studio
Looking to build strength and boost your fitness? Join our new Strength Training class at The Fitness Place! Designed specifically for high school students, this class will help you build muscle, increase endurance, and improve overall fitness through engaging and challenging workouts. We will focus on full-body strength training using dumbbells, barbells, body weight, and kettlebells. No prior weightlifting experience is needed! Participants must be at least 12 years old and have a current membership or day pass at The Fitness Place.

Gentle Spin

Join us for a fun and energizing beginner-level spin class that's perfect for anyone new to indoor cycling or those looking for a lower-intensity ride! This session focuses on shorter intervals with steady, mostly seated, Zone 2 and Zone 3 efforts to help you build endurance. We'll keep things exciting by incorporating light weights throughout the ride for a full-body workout that leaves you feeling strong and balanced. A full body resistance training workout featuring dumbbells, kettlebells, bands and bodyweight exercises. We use compound and isolation exercises to strengthen and tone the body. This class focuses on functional exercises that carry over to real life such as squats, overhead presses, lunges and mobility movements.

Our senior wellness program focuses on improving the quality of life for our older adults. Using light weights, bands, balls and chairs, the class will focus on functional movement patterns to simulate daily life activities. You will increase your joint range of motion, balance, core stability, fall prevention, cardiovascular health, strength and flexibility. All in a friendly fun atmosphere!

Social Dance: Salsa

A Social Dance class that will change dance styles every month. Styles will include Salsa, Cha Cha, Swing, and Waltz. These are all learning based classes, all experience levels are welcome!

Salsa is a Latin American dance that originated in Cuba. It is a vibrant dance style that is characterized by its energetic footwork, fluid turn and rhythmic hip movements.

Bike-O-Vision is a Keiser drill power pacing class that focuses on form, cardio, and length-strength development. Taking a virtual ride across Europe, U.S., and Hawaii, this is a power-pacing experience unlike any other! With the guidance of a Keiser-certified instructor, you will be guided on gear selection, smart pace setting, and endurance drills. Great for those of all fitness levels.

Total Body Circuit

A fun new class integrating basic strength training, balance and injury prevention, flexibility, and low - moderate-intensity exercise. Starting at the fundamentals! The class is divided into two sections. 30 minutes of balance, flexibility, muscle activation, and core work. Then 30 minutes of a total body strength training circuit, targeting each muscle group with weights and a fun variety of equipment.

You will be sure to break a sweat and have a realistic ride. Between climbing hills, sprinting and hovering over flat surfaces, you will not get bored during this class!

Get that heart rate up and sweat a flowin’ with this high-energy class! After a group warm up you will move through 5 rounds of 5 exercises. Each interval is 45 seconds of work, followed by 15 seconds of rest. Once a round is completed, there’s a full minute rest so you can perform your best in the next round!
